This is another course on using graphics in Microsoft Word. The things you can do in Word are amazing; design a logo, enhance you headings, design a leading character for a paragraph, design some fantastic text for a card, an invitation, a book cover and so on; the list is endless and it is fun.
Text programs are "single layer" programs Graphics programs (like Photoshop) are multi layer programs so graphics can slide around on top or below each other. A basic text program cannot handle graphics. But advanced word processing programs have this incredible facility to cope with graphics and wrap the text around them. Controlling this requires some knowledge and expertise; come and learn how, once mastered, the frustration vanishes.
This course does require good basic skills in Word processing. The minimum standard to enjoy this course is a full understanding of SNEB's course "Word processing Basic Word Level 2 for Word 2003, 2007 & 2010" (the version you use). Students must have completed and understand all topics in "Word Processing Basic Word 2007/2010/2013"
Word 2007/2010/2013
When booking for this course, please indicate in the notes which version of MS Word you work with.
