Students should be familiar with the Microsoft operating system of their computer.

Topics Covered Include

• Procedures for improving performance with XP, Vista, or Windows7.
• Computer architecture and specifications.
• Task Manager: CPU and memory utilization, fixing frozen programs.
• System Restore; fixing registry problems.
• Hard disk maintenance
• Check disk and cleanup, defragmentation.

Skills Required

It is essential to be proficient with the computer Skills covered in Level 1 & 2.
