Outline

This course follows from the first two Level 1 courses. We expect that you have been to the introductory session and completed Getting Started and Using the Keyboard. This course will give you further experience with the World Wide Web using the browser program called Internet Explorer.

Topics Covered Include

• Revision of opening Internet Explorer and familiarisation with the interface and command bars
• Using the search engine Google
• What is a hyperlink?
• The Favourites folder

Skills Required

Confidence with using the mouse and good knowledge of the keyboard are really desirable.
